Beach Poetry


Seaweed, foam, pebble, plume artfully melded beauty where earthy treasure-trove. Taken at daybreak on a small beach at Fort Baker just under the Golden Gate Bridge on a very overcast foggy summer morning in San Francisco.

Happy Hour


The magic hour at sunrise can transform a scratched up warehouse window into a work of art. The Presidio is slowly evolving into classy playground - as it should - though many romantic artists worry that the past will be lost to the future. In general, photographers are old warehouse freaks. If they get a change to visit a junkyard during twilight, they call it "happy hour."
